Today on the
Brian Turner Show on WFMU, guest Ryan Martin of
DAIS Records brought a slew of cassettes from the 70's through today. Tapes of proto-post-industrial-synth-experimental strangeness. From Genesis P Orridge's private unreleased collection and Ryan's own tapes and transfers this has been a great mound of lost gems and unusual sounds:
- Coum Transmissions
- These Feathers Have Wings
- Hoor Par Kraat
- Throbbing Gristle
- Guy Debord
- Mudboy
- Aaron Dilloway
- David Tibet reading from the Process Church's "The Process Gods On War"
- Nurse With Wound
- Illusion of Safety
- SPK
- and more
The show is still being broadcast but we'll update with a link to the archive. Any fan of obscure music related to the older industrial/experimental scene should look into this - you won't hear most of this any where else.
